dear mr. snow…

Please do NOT come here tomorrow. I am far too busy and important to be dealing with you right now.

Hahaha. Well I tried :P

Not much to write at the moment. Last week was relatively uneventful, this week so far has been pretty manic (work wise). So much to do, so little time. I met up with Audra on Saturday and went to see Did You Hear About The Morgans? It was really good! So awesome to see Hugh Grant on screen again :) and SJP was great as ever. Other than that I spent the entire weekend doing college work. Ugh.

NOW… firstly, pic of the day:

Riddarholmen, Stockholm
Riddarholmen, Stockholm. As seen from the top of Stadshuset.

And secondly:

Song of the moment: Many of Horror by Biffy Clyro. I *heart* this song!
Currently Loving: Biffy.
Currently Loathing: Being bored. I really need to get outta here!
Currently Wishing: That the Delays show in Dublin DIDN’T clash with Kent in Stockholm.
Looking forward to: Seeing FeverSeason on Friday night in Southampton. Guest List FTW :P

Carousel

she takes you in and it wears you out
didn’t want to fall in love at all
somehow it just wears you out
and after a day like this
after a kiss like this
you can never go home
never come home
you can never go home
never come home

Firstly, Happy 51st Birthday Mr Gessle! Kinda fitting that one of his songs matches my mood today of all days. Well not my mood, but the way things are right now. Except the other way round. If that makes any sense at all. Hahaha! cryptic or what eh :P
SO… the whole procrastinater calendar is not going so well hahah! lack of time, inspiration… whatever. I have a few scanned here but no desire to upload them. Maybe pic of the day would be better?! or song of the day. Anyways…
Today at work we had *another* Christmas party. Well it was more a New Year party by now LOL! I helped Barbara cook up an amazingly delicious feast and we all took time out from our uber-busy days to chill out, have some champagne, eat nice food and enjoy each other’s company. I really love the fact that I actually love my colleagues. I miss work when I’m not there hahah! Being home for the entire Christmas holiday made me realise how much of an escape work has been for me these last 7 months. It’s nice to be back, busy and excited about what the year is gonna bring!

OK, so… back to something I started on here aaaages ago (but of course never carried on…) -

Song of the moment:
You Got It by Roy Orbison [love love love it!]
Currently Loving: Being back at work. Seriously!
Currently Loathing: The aftermath of Snow Day. It’s pretty for like 24hrs, and then it’s just shit.
Currently Wishing: Delays would announce some bloody tour dates already!
Looking forward to: Stockholm in February to see Kent. I’m looking forward to loads more than this, but that’ll do for now!

Paulerspury

I made it in to work today! The village I work in is absolutely gorgeous when it snows, so I had to take a picture! This is the view from my office window at The Hunt House…

Beautiful Ayr

Well, snow day has hit Milton Keynes! and as I don’t have a scanner at home anymore you’ll have to wait another day or so for the calendar page.
SO…I finally got around to putting a few pix online from our trip to Ayr last May!

Ailsa Craig - the little island I was named after!
